Blood test price in Dubai: what UAE tests and packages cost in 2026

When we read public prices on 11 October 2026, a single blood test or a standard panel such as a lipid profile, bought on its own, cost from 35 to 300 in Dubai and across the UAE. Full body check-up packages cost from 69 to 3,950, and panels of 100 or more results from 599 to 2,499. The blood test price in Dubai depends less on the test than on what comes with it: a home visit, a doctor's consultation, VAT, or an offer with an end date.

This guide rests on 152 public prices from 24 providers, read on that day from their own websites and from a few booking and comparison sites. Most are Dubai prices, 43 are online prices for the whole country, and nine are for Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. We do not name providers here. The pages behind each lowest and highest figure are listed under Sources. Prices change and offers end, so read these as ranges, not quotes.

How much is a blood test in the UAE?

Bought on its own and without a consultation, a common blood test cost from 35 to 300. The table gives the lowest and highest price for each test and the number of listings behind each range.

The thyroid row includes one listing that measures total rather than free T4 and T3, and one that did not list its contents. Several of the highest prices include a home visit.

The spread within one test is wide. The dearest CBC cost more than four times the cheapest, and the dearest vitamin D more than three times. Eleven of the fourteen lowest prices came from one laboratory's online shop, which adds a collection fee to small orders. The highest came from another laboratory's online shop, from a clinic's own price table that it called indicative for 2026, and from home services whose price includes the visit. The lowest vitamin D price, 49, came from a listing that showed as out of stock when we read it.

Panels that combine several tests

Iron studies or an anaemia panel cost from 99 to 450 at four listings, depending on whether ferritin, a blood count and B12 were included. Hormones are usually sold as panels. Without a consultation, a male or female hormone panel cost from 289 to 944 at ten listings, the dearest adding a blood count and a lipid profile. Packages that pair hormone tests with a doctor's consultation cost from 499 to 1,800 at seven listings.

What does a full blood test cost in Dubai?

What people call a full blood test is usually sold as a full body check-up or health check package. We found 29, from 69 to 3,950, and the middle one cost 699. So the full blood test price in Dubai covers a wide spread: fourteen packages cost 399 or less, and ten cost 1,000 or more.

What a package under 200 includes

The eight packages under 200 cover a routine core: a complete blood count, a lipid profile, liver and kidney function, and a blood sugar test such as fasting glucose or HbA1c. Some add an iron profile, TSH, vitamin D or CRP. Most are done at a lab or clinic and two included a home visit. None included a GP consultation in the price, though one came with half off a GP visit. The cheapest, 69 for 58 tests, and a 61-test package at 99 were both listed as out of stock when we read them.

What a package over 1,000 includes

Above 1,000, much of the price pays for things other than blood tests. Seven of the ten packages at 1,000 or more added a doctor's consultation or tests outside the lab, such as an ECG, a chest X-ray, an ultrasound, an eye check or a dentist visit. Some listed fewer blood tests than the cheapest packages: one at 1,100 lists 10 lab tests and a physician consultation, and one at 1,000 lists 13 items, an ECG among them, with a consultation. The dearest two were a home package of 39 lab tests with an ECG at 2,548.85, an offer price, and a hospital executive check with consultations and other investigations at 3,950. The other three were a home panel of 90 or more parameters, a home package of 31 lab tests at 1,799.10, and one whose contents were not listed.

Why the number of tests is a poor guide

Packages count tests in different ways. A complete blood count is ordered as one test, but we saw packages count it as 21 results and as 28. One 54-parameter package listed its contents as CBC 28, liver 11, lipids 7, kidney 5 and iron 3, so more than half of its count was the blood count. Count the tests a doctor would order, not the parameters, and check that the markers you care about are named.

What do 100+ biomarker blood tests cost?

Six listings sold 100 or more results, from 599 to 2,499. How they are sold matters as much as the count. The 599 figure is a per-test price on a six-month subscription that renews automatically; the same panel bought once cost 699, with two GP video consultations. Another is an annual membership at 1,600 that covers 100 results at the start and 60 retested six months later, rising to 1,800 from the second year. The other three were one-off home panels. The one at 1,518 counts urine and stool tests in its 100, the one at 1,999 lists 110 results, and the one at 2,499 includes tumour markers and a teleconsultation. Two large panels below the 100 mark, of 65 results and of more than 70, cost 733 and 1,399.

How much does home blood collection cost?

Many home services build the visit into the price, and their pages say "all-inclusive" or that the nurse visit is included. Where the visit was charged separately, we found six fees, from free to 199. Three came from a comparison site that called its own figures indicative: one free, one at 50 and one at 100. Two providers charged 100 when single tests were booked without a package. One of them waived it once the order reached 300, and charged 50 for a walk-in at its lab below that amount. One clinic's guide gave its home visit fee as from 199, with the tests on top, and named 249 elsewhere in the same article.

The fee matters most on small orders. One home service listed a CBC at 30 in its basket, plus 100 for the visit when booked alone, and also sold it as an all-in home test from 139 that included a doctor's teleconsultation.

What changes the blood test price in Dubai?

A single test or a package

Single tests are cheap one at a time and add up as you add more. At one laboratory's online shop, a CBC, HbA1c, lipid profile, liver function test and kidney function test each cost from 35 to 89 on their own, with a collection fee on orders below 300, while packages covering that same core started under 200 elsewhere. If you need two or three specific markers, single tests can work out cheaper. If you want the routine core, compare it with a package.

A lab visit or a home visit

A home visit is either a separate fee or already in the price. When a home test looks dearer than the same test at a lab, check whether the difference is the visit.

VAT

The UAE's standard rate of VAT is 5%, and the Ministry of Finance lists essential healthcare services among the supplies taxed at zero. The price pages rarely said which applied. Of the 152 prices, 15 said VAT was included and none said it would be added; the rest did not say. Ask whether the price on the page is the price you pay.

Offer and "from" prices

Of the 152 prices, 21 were marked as offers or promotions, often next to a much higher "was" price: one package at 299 against 1,500, another at 1,599 against 3,130. Six more were "from" or starting prices. Ask what a starting price covers and how long an offer runs.

A consultation in the bundle

A doctor's consultation can be what turns a test under 100 into a package near 1,000. Vitamin D, B12, ferritin, zinc and folate sold together with a family medicine and endocrinology consultation cost 999 in Dubai, while vitamin D on its own started at 49. If you already have a doctor who will go through the results with you, a bundled consultation may be one you do not need.

Where you book

One hospital group listed the same five-marker nutrition package at 799 in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain and at 999 in Dubai, and a women's hormone package at 1,399 and 1,599 in the same two places. If a provider works in more than one emirate, check the price for the branch you will visit.

What should you ask before booking a blood test?

• The full list of tests, in writing. A test count is not a list.
• Whether VAT is included. Most pages do not say.
• Whether collection is included, and if not, the fee and any order size that removes it.
• Whether the price is an offer or a starting price, what it covers and when it ends.
• Whether a consultation is included, with whom, and whether you need it.
• Which laboratory analyses the sample. In Dubai, a clinical laboratory works under a Dubai Health Authority licence that has to be displayed at its reception, and some samples are sent on to another laboratory for testing.
• Whether you need to fast. A fasting test usually means 8 to 12 hours without food, with plain water allowed. European guidance says a routine lipid profile does not need fasting, but laboratories differ, so ask rather than guess.
• How results arrive. In Dubai, a laboratory's report has to give units and, where they apply, reference intervals. Ask whether a doctor will go through it with you, and whether you get a copy to keep.
• Whether insurance covers it. If you have health insurance, ask your insurer whether the test is covered when a doctor orders it.

One result, or a record over time

Whatever you pay, one panel is a snapshot. For most blood markers, results differ more between people than within one person over time, so your own earlier results are often a sharper reference than a population range, and a change between two panels says more than either number alone.
