Terms of service.

About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Clare Health (“Clare”, “we”, “us”), the company behind clare.health, app.clare.health and the Clare app. They cover the website, the app, the membership and everything delivered through them, including blood testing, clinical review, your plan and your care team.
By creating an account, buying a membership or using the app, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be 18 or over and able to attend a partner laboratory or receive a home draw in the UAE. Where an employer buys a membership for you, these terms are still between you and Clare: the account, the results and the plan are yours.
What Clare is, and what it is not
Clare is a longevity health membership. It includes a first blood panel and a retest later in the same year, a clinician's review of every panel, biological age and health scores, a personalised plan, an on-demand care team, Clare AI and the app that holds it all together. Testing is carried out by partner laboratories licensed in the UAE, and clinical services are delivered by clinicians licensed in the UAE.
Clare is not urgent or emergency care, and it does not replace your own doctor. Results and plans are reviewed by clinicians, but a result on its own is not a diagnosis, and a plan is not a prescription unless a clinician has written one for you.
- If you have symptoms that worry you, see a doctor today.
- In an emergency, call 998.
Your account
You need an account to use the service. Keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used them. You are responsible for what happens on your account until you do.
One person, one account. Results are read against your own history, so an account shared between two people would give both of them wrong answers. Give us accurate information, including the identification a laboratory needs to take and label your sample, and keep it up to date.
Membership, fees and renewal
Membership runs for a year and is billed in dirhams. The price is shown before you enter a card and does not change during the term you have paid for.
Membership renews at the end of each term unless you cancel before it does. We remind you before a renewal is charged, and any change to the renewal price is told to you before it applies.
Where an employer pays, Clare invoices the employer for the people it enrols, and the term is the employer's. Your account is still yours: the employer never sees your results, and when you leave, the membership runs to the end of its term and you can renew it yourself.
Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time from the app or by writing to us. Cancelling stops the next renewal. The membership you have paid for runs to the end of its term, and everything already in your account stays yours to read and export.
If you cancel within 14 days of paying and before any sample has been taken, we refund the payment in full. Once a sample has been taken, the membership is not refunded, because the laboratory and clinical work it pays for has begun.
If we withdraw the membership altogether, we refund the part of the term you have not had.
Testing and results
Samples are taken at a partner laboratory or, where the service is available in your emirate, at home. Some markers need you to fast. The instructions arrive with your booking, and a sample taken without following them may need to be repeated.
Testing is carried out by a licensed partner laboratory, which issues the official results and is responsible under its own procedures for anything abnormal or urgent, including contacting you where those procedures require it. Results usually arrive within ten days of the draw, though a laboratory can occasionally take longer or ask for a second sample.
Results carry the reference ranges the laboratory uses, and Clare sets them against your own history as well. A result inside a range can still be worth acting on, and a result outside one is not by itself a diagnosis. Nothing in Clare is a diagnosis, and it does not replace a consultation with a doctor.
Clinical care and Clare AI
The care team and the clinicians who read your panels use their professional judgement. They may ask you for more information, refer you to a specialist or to your own doctor, or decline to recommend something they consider unsafe. Any prescription is written only by a licensed clinician, and only where it is appropriate for you.
Clare AI is an assistant that reads your own results and plan and answers questions about them. It is not a clinician. It does not diagnose, it does not prescribe, and it hands anything clinical to a person. It can be wrong, so treat its answers as the start of a conversation with the care team rather than as advice to act on alone.
Your data and privacy
How we collect, use, keep and protect your information is set out in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms. In short: your results are encrypted, are visible to you and to the clinicians involved in your care, are held in the UAE, are never sold, and are never used to train anything.
You can connect wearables and upload results from other laboratories. Data you bring in is read alongside your own panels, and you can disconnect a device or remove an upload at any time. We rely on what you give us being accurate, so check it before you rely on it too.
Using the service properly
The service is for your own health, or for someone whose care you are legally responsible for and have told us about. Do not use it to obtain results or advice for anyone else.
- Do not try to gain access to another person's account or results.
- Do not copy, scrape, reverse engineer or resell any part of the service.
- Do not interfere with the service, its security or its infrastructure.
- Do not give us information you know to be false, or someone else's identity.
The app, the site, the scores, the plans and everything else we have written or built belong to Clare or to our licensors. You have a personal licence to use them for as long as you have an account. Your data belongs to you. If you send us feedback, we may use it without owing you anything for it.
Changes, availability and ending the service
We improve the service continually, which means features change. We tell you before we remove or materially change something you have paid for, and we give you at least 30 days' notice of any change to these terms that affects you. If you keep using the service after a change takes effect, you accept it.
The service is not always available: laboratories close, maintenance happens, and an internet connection is yours to provide. We aim to tell you in advance where we can.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts anyone at risk or is used fraudulently, and we explain why unless the law prevents us. You can close your account at any time. Closing it does not delete the records a licensed health provider is required to keep, and the Privacy Policy explains which those are.
Disclaimers and liability
We provide the service with reasonable care and skill, and we stand behind the clinicians and laboratories we work with. We cannot promise a particular health outcome, that every condition will be found, or that the service will be uninterrupted.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. Beyond that, our liability to you for any claim arising from the service in a given year is limited to the fees you paid us in that year, and we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable when you joined.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. If something goes wrong, write to us first: most problems are resolved that way, and we reply within ten working days. Any dispute that cannot be resolved is subject to the courts of Dubai. Nothing here takes away rights you have as a consumer under UAE law.
